The boot selector turns your external disk drive / gotek into your df0: (your internal df0: will be disabled, so they don't swap places).
By means of the Amiga Keyboard switching DF0: - DF1: boot selector for the commodore amiga 500 / 500+ / 2000.
This boot selector makes it possible to boot from an external floppy drive or from an external gotek by pressing CTRL-Amiga-Amiga 3 consecutive times with a pause of 1 second in between, or you can keep keep the keys pressed for 3 seconds.

The Deluxe version of the Switchless boot selector is configurable.

By switching 2 jumpers you can choose whether the Amiga Switchless Boot selector Deluxe Version defaults to the internal DF0: boot or whether it uses the external drive as a boot drive ( DF0 🙂 when turning on the Amiga.
The standard version always jumps back to the internal drive after turning the Amiga on and off.

It is necessary to open your amiga for this expansion ! The boot selector should be placed between the even CIA and the socket on the motherboard.

You do NOT need to make holes in your Amiga housing for this boot selector!
An extensive installation manual is available online on the website if required.

You can switch between boot drives by pressing the 'CTRL - Left Amiga - Right Amiga' keys for 3 times (wait till the power leds turns on before pressing the key combination again.)

You alternately can switch between boot drives by pressing the 'CTRL - Left Amiga - Right Amiga' keys for  3 seconds , then the bootdrive will also switch.

Excellent service and the product is above and beyond my expectations.

The best Amiga bootselector

The most well-thought bootselector one can find on the market.
It is switchless design but let me set the external drive as default.
The 3 sec reset time is also very convenient, and the HW layout is also very smart / low profile with having the chips at the bottom side.

Amazing Little Device

This is essential if you want to use a Gotek drive with your Amiga.
It's discrete, has jumpers that allow you to set the default behaviour and works flawlessly.

I'm able to use the Gotek drive as DF1/DF2 if I'm working on Workbench, and as DF0 if I want to boot games that I don't have my floppies at hand for.

If you have a GOTEK and an AMIGA, this is a must.
