VideoPac G7000 Composite Mod.
After I bought a Videopac and wanted to upgrade, it turned out that having only an antenna (RF) output was a huge handicap.
Not only is there very little to be found that has such a connection, but the image is also toe-curlingly bad in most cases.
After some searching I came across several schematics for a composite modification for the VideoPac G7000 (Unknown if this also works on the odyssey2 and/or G7400 models).
After I had made a design based on the schematic, I had to wait until the prints arrived and whether they indeed gave a better image.
With the composite output, your Videopac suddenly has many more possibilities in terms of connecting and the image has improved enormously

Installing the VideoPac G7000 Composite Mod.
While reading it quickly became apparent that almost all designs required soldering on the motherboard.
Now that may not be a big problem for a seasoned hobbyist, but I prefer to opt for a lower threshold when it comes to offering these types of solutions.
So I started looking and came to the conclusion that all signals are offered to the modulator via a 4 pin plug.
If you choose the mod without a cable, you can create the audio and video output on the back of the machine via 3 cinch connectors or a mini jack.
Installing the VideoPac G7000 Composite Mod with cable.
I made my VideoPac G7000 Composite Mod compatible with the pin layout of the Modulator connector, so simply disconnect the connector from the modulator, plug the PCB into the connector where the connector used to be. If
you have a composite mod with cable, you can disconnect the antenna cable that runs out and roll it up and tape it to the inside of the G7000.
You can then lead the composite cable out through that output.
You don't have to change anything on the housing and can return everything to the original state if desired.
