I was asked if I could design and build a special Gotek that would fit directly into a 5.25" slot on a custom Amiga (in a PC case).
This resulted in a custom-designed and 3D-printed 5.25" bracket, which allows the Gotek to be easily mounted in any available 5.25" space.
The OLED display, buzzer, and rotary encoder are installed without the use of adhesive and can be easily replaced if necessary.

The design of the housing is such that all extensions can be easily mounted and dismounted if necessary, so no globs of glue, drilling holes or other nonsense.
This 5.25" Gotek with a 1.3" OLED display offers a larger display area for 4 lines of information, compared to the 2 lines of information on the 0.91" OLED display.
You can also use 3 lines, with one line displayed at double size, for those who, like me, are getting older and more active.
The drives are equipped with the latest Flashfloppy firmware, are fully tested and ready for immediate use.

The 5.25 Gotek + Amiga external interface works like a charm with my Amiga 500.
My plan is to install it in the housing of my old defect external 5.25" Amiga floppy drive.
I had a nice guidance from Ed before ordering.
Really top notch these Goteks in 5.25”. I installed them in my PC8801 and they work perfectly!

Turned out to live nearby and was in the area. What a service! Even with attention, daughter very happy.
I immediately tried out the 5.25 Gotek with 1.3 Oled display with a number of DOS images (Olivetti 3.20 and 6.22 upgrade) and going through the folder structure turned out to be very easy.
Works like a charm. Also nice that you can see which track and side are being read.
The sound from the speaker makes it complete. Just like a real floppy drive but so much more convenient.
