A number of different models of D-pad controllers have been  marketed by Sega for the Sega Megadrive (II).
The controllers for these machines are loved by retro console enthusiasts, and with the help of the MSX Sega Mega D-Pad Adapter it is now possible to use these controllers on the MSX computers as well.
Please note that even though the MSX machines and the Sega Mega Drive have the same 9-pin Sub-D connection, they are not electrically interchangeable and can cause serious damage to your beloved machine.
So only use a Sega D-pad on your MSX via this adapter.
This adapter is also known as MSX Joymega.
