The TapeCart Instant Menu Loader Cartridge:

The Tapecart Instant Menu Loader Cartridge ensures that the menu without Shift - Run/Stop appears (almost) immediately on the screen after switching on or resetting your C64.
What is also a nice extra is that after a reset you will now immediately return to the folder where you were last working, so instead of having to browse where you were over and over again, you go directly to that menu.

Tapecart Instant Menu Loader Cartridge specs:

The Instant Menu Loader Cartridge is based on the Magic Desk Cartridge concept.
That is a cartridge that can load *.prg files (via a special menu generator).
The main components of the cartridge are a 64 KB eprom, and 2 logic ICs.
For this version a Single File autostart option has been created so that the menu appears directly on the screen when you reset or switch on your Commodore 64.

Note : only plug in / out of the Instant Menu Cartridge with C64 switched off !!

Echt een FAST loader / A real FAST Loader

What a pleasure to be able to start the TapeCartSD so quickly. Loading via the "normal way" becomes annoying in the long run.
This is a nice addition and a lot of added value for not too much money.
Ordering and shipping also went smoothly.

Tapecart_SD & Instant Menu Loader

Some time ago I bought a Pi1541 on eBay, but I was very disappointed in terms of loading times.
After Ed's enthusiastic stories about the Tapecart_SD, I decided to buy it in combination with the Instant Menu Loader.
Well I have to say he didn't say too much, I was blown away by the speed at which it worked, I call this the Speedy Gonzales on the C64.
Both products have a neat 3D printed housing. And they were delivered quickly, very well packaged and with clear manuals.
In short, I am very satisfied with this and to use a quote from Ed "I can now experience it as I experienced it". But much faster 🙂

Translated review from the Dutch Website : Enige tijd geleden op Ebay al een Pi1541 gekocht, maar deze viel mij qua laadtijden erg tegen.Na de enthousiaste verhalen van Ed over de Tapecart_SD besloot ik dan ook deze in combinatie met de Instant Menu Loader te kopen. Nou, ik moet zeggen hij had niets te veel gezegd, ik werd door de snelheid waarmee het werkte omvergeblazen, ik noem dit de Speedy Gonzales op de C64.De beide producten zijn voorzien van een keurige 3D geprinte behuizing. En ze werden snel, zeer goed verpakt en met duidelijke handleidingen geleverd.Kortom, ik ben super tevreden hiermee en om een citaat van Ed te gebruiken "Ik kan het nu beleven zoals ik het beleefd heb". Maar dan veel sneller 🙂
