If you visit someone who offers a monitor, or go to a thrift store or second-hand shop, make sure you have this tool in your pocket.
Connect the Atari Video Mode Monitor Tester to the monitor via a VGA cable and turn it on using the switch.
After a few seconds a test image will appear, the default test image is a standard VGA mode, after holding down the Mode button for a few seconds, you go to the next mode.
The order is VGA 60 (Default), Atari Low Res 50, Atari Low Res 60, Atari High Res 71
